Thomas Hunter plays with a fiery passion that is both contagious and motivating. He is a great communicator and a miracle worker at the goal line. Distribution and organization on the field are just two of his strengths.

Thomas joined Chattanooga FC in 2010 after his senior year at Wofford College, where he earned 2009 Second Team All Southern Conference and 2009 Southern Conference All-Tournament Team. At Wofford, Thomas played all but three minutes of the season and led his team to win the Southern Conference Tournament. Initially serving as a back up goalie for Chattanooga FC, Thomas took center stage in 2011.

During the 2011 Chattanooga FC season, Thomas returned as starting goalkeeper, leading his team to an Open Cup qualifying win against Atlanta Silverbacks Reserves and an exciting match with Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL). Thomas was rewarded with a spot on the 2011 NPSL All-Star team, for whom he served as the starting goalkeeper.
